Progenika’s blood group genotyping microarray, which simultaneously detects over 100 genetic variants in the nine blood group systems that are most relevant to transfusion safety, overcomes these serological limitations. |
Autosomal Dominant Hypercholesterolemia (ADH) is a genetic
disorder that affects approximately 1 in 500 persons worldwide.It comprises Familial Hypercholesterolemia (FH) and Familial Defective Apolipoprotein B (FDB).
Clinically, patients with ADH have a higher risk of developing coronary artery disease and atherosclerosis at an early age due to mutations on genes coding for proteins responsible for removing cholesterol from the blood.
