RT-PCR Validation

Genomic data validation, and more specifically microarray processing data validation, is a key factor for research project completion.

Available project-oriented technologies:

  • BioMark™ RT-PCR System Technology (Fluidigm® Technology): this novel technique, using a microarray-integrated nanofluid circuit, allows gene validation increasing analytical performance and reducing test final volume.
  • Low Density Arrays Technology (TaqMan® Applied Biosystems): gene expression quantification using microfluidic cards. Optimal for validating a large number of genes.
  • 7500 Real Time PCR System Technology (TaqMan® Applied Biosystems): Gene expression quantification in 96-well plates. Optimal for validation of medium gene numbers in a moderate number of samples.

1. LDA PLATE DESIGN AND PROCESSING

Progenika Biopharma provides full data validation using the best available technology for each project and fulfilling our quality standards.

Furthermore, our skilled highly-qualified staff offers continuous technical advice in key stages such as LDA plate design or relevant gene selection.

2. BIOINFORMATICS UNIT

Bioinformatic analysis is performed using the relative quantification Comparative CT Method comprising:

  • Data normalization.
  • Selection of genes with significant expression changes.
  • Sample classification regarding expression profiles by means of clustering techniques and Principal Component Analysis (PCA).

Results are delivered to the client within a period of 3 months after order form approval.
